Horse Power
Directing a 30-second surreal street race in Seedance 2.5 — a man in a red 911, a white horse in a black Ferrari, and one master prompt that carries eleven shots from the red light to the finish-line ribbon.

MODEL SEEDANCE 2.5 FORMAT 16:9 · 30S · 11 SHOTS GENRE SURREAL STREET RACE
This film was originally written as two 15-second generations — a setup clip and a finale that continued from its last frame. Seedance 2.5 changes the math: with 30 seconds in a single generation, the two halves become one master prompt, one continuous style, and one uninterrupted build from idle engine to torn ribbon. This guide shows the four reference images, the merged 30-second prompt, and how the merge itself was done — because folding two prompts into one is a craft of its own.
STEP 01
The References — A Cast of Four Sheets
Four images go in, each owning one layer of the film. Reference 1 locks the driver's identity. Reference 2 is a four-panel sheet locking both the rival and his car — note the prompt's warning that the sheet shows ONE horse and ONE car, never a grid to be reproduced. Reference 3 is pure atmosphere: the dusk highway under giant pink clouds that every shot must match. Reference 4 is another four-panel sheet locking the hero car. The fifth reference is typographic — the finish-line logo — and lives inside the prompt as a letter-by-letter spec; attach your own logo image as Reference 5 if you have one.
REFERENCE INPUTS — ATTACH IN THIS ORDER

Set Seedance 2.5 to 16:9 and 30 seconds, attach the references in this order, then paste the merged prompt below unchanged.
STEP 02
Prompt 1
Eleven timed shots in five movements: the red-light staredown, the launch, the wheel-to-wheel sprint, the gear-slam duel, and the ribbon finish over the painted logo. Paste it as written.
SEEDANCE 2.5 · 16:9 · 30S · 11 SHOTS · DYNAMIC CUTS
FORMAT: 30s / 16:9 horizontal / cinematic surreal street-race / dynamic cuts
STYLE: Hollywood live action cinematic, ultra realistic, photorealistic textures, real world physics, ARRI ALEXA aesthetic, anamorphic lens, 35mm film grain, motion blur on speed, shallow depth of field, professional color grading, shoulder-mounted feel, subtle sway, micro-shake, dreamlike dusk lit by giant pink clouds.
REFERENCES:
Reference 1 = the man. Preserve exact face, curly hair, beard and black sunglasses at all times. He wears a red racing jacket. Effortlessly cool.
Reference 2 = the white horse and its black Ferrari. Preserve the horse's exact identity, long white mane and slim black sunglasses at all times, and the Ferrari's exact black body, proportions and silver wheels — no redesign. Four-panel sheet: ONE horse and ONE car only, never a split-screen or grid.
Reference 3 = the environment. Wide highway at dusk under massive pink cumulus clouds, faint stars, warm streetlights, retro-analog texture. Match this lighting exactly.
Reference 4 = the red Porsche 911. Use exact body shape, red paint, red wheels, rear wing. Also a four-panel sheet: ONE single car only.
Reference 5 = the logo. Replicate EXACTLY, letter by letter: "HIGGSFIELD" bold white italic on top, "SEEDANCE 2.5" bold black italic inside a neon yellow-green banner below. Exact fonts, spacing, colors. No misspelled, warped or missing letters.
VIDEO PROMPT:
Shot 1 (0-3s): The man behind the wheel of the red Porsche, stopped at a red traffic light on the dream highway. Red glow on his sunglasses. Engine idles low, one relaxed hand on the wheel.
Shot 2 (3-6s): The exact black Ferrari from Reference 2 rolls up in the next lane and stops beside him. Behind its wheel sits the white horse in slim black sunglasses, upright in the driver seat, front hooves on the steering wheel, driving the way a human driver does. Its window slides down.
Shot 3 (6-9s): Close-up on the black car's open window: the horse's white mane falls across its face over the sunglasses. It slowly turns its head, gives the man a confident stare. Reverse close-up: the man tilts his head slightly, a small smirk.
Shot 4 (9-12s): Both look up at the traffic light at the same moment. Yellow, then green. Engines roar, rear tires spin in place, thick white tire smoke erupts, both cars launch with slight fishtailing, rear ends stepping out then straightening.
Shot 5 (12-15s): Locked-off static camera, extremely low, lens near the asphalt, framed from behind. Both cars accelerate away side by side toward the pink horizon, tire smoke drifting over the lens, tail lights shrinking as the race begins.
Shot 6 (15-17s): Low side tracking at full speed, cars nose to nose, bodies vibrating, heat shimmer, pink light streaking on the paint.
Shot 7 (17-19s): Rig camera bolted low at the Porsche's rear wheel: the red wheel fills half the frame, spinning hard, tire flexing, suspension pumping, lane lines strobing past underneath, camera shuddering with the chassis.
Shot 8 (19-21s): Rig camera behind the Porsche's wing: spoiler sharp in foreground trembling with speed, the black Ferrari looming behind in shallow focus, headlights flaring, exhaust haze between them.
Shot 9 (21-23s): Interior: the man's hand slams the gear lever, revs spike, the car surges, pressing him back. Quick cut: the horse's hoof shoves its shifter, mane whipping, both cars lunging.
Shot 10 (23-27s): Top-down bird's-eye, camera locked high above the finish line. A white ribbon across the road; painted on the asphalt past it, a huge graffiti version of the Reference 5 logo, spray-paint texture, crisp readable letters. Both cars enter from the bottom flat-out, the Porsche half a length ahead, its nose snaps the ribbon, both sweep across the painted logo and exit top of frame, torn ribbon fluttering down.
Shot 11 (27-30s): High slightly diagonal locked angle: the logo sharp and readable, ribbon settling, both cars shrinking into the pink horizon, faint tire haze. Hard stop, no fade.
CAMERA: Shots 1-4 and 9 shoulder-mounted feel, gentle sway, micro-shake, reframing lag. Shot 5 fully static ground-level rear angle. Shot 6 low side tracking at full speed. Shots 7-8 hard-mounted rig cameras vibrating with the chassis. Shots 10-11 static locked.
SFX: idling flat-six engine, deeper V8 rumble arriving, window motor whir, traffic light click, two engines revving, explosive simultaneous launch, screeching tires, engines screaming at redline, two crisp gear shifts with rev drops, exhaust crackle, tire roar, wind buffeting, ribbon snap, engines fading into distance, soft dusk wind. No music.
NEGATIVE PROMPT: no split-screen, no multi-panel layout, no cartoon, no identity change, no face distortion, no extra limbs on the horse, no morphing, no unrealistic physics, no cheap CGI, no flat lighting, no misspelled or distorted logo text, no warped typography, no captions, no watermarks except the painted road logo.
STEP 03
Anatomy — How Two Prompts Became One
- 1
One clock
The merge is mostly arithmetic: the finale's shots kept their durations but moved onto a single 0-30 timeline. Every beat still owns an explicit window, because Seedance paces by the clock you write.
- 2
One style block
The two originals carried near-identical STYLE lines; the merge unions them once — anamorphic lens and motion blur from the finale joined the shoulder-mounted dusk look of the setup. One look, declared once, holds all eleven shots.
- 3
The seam, rewritten
The old Part 1 ended with “hard stop, no fade” and Part 2 opened with a continuation clause. Both are gone: Shot 5 now ends with tail lights shrinking as the race begins, and only Shot 11 is allowed to stop hard. In a single generation, continuity is free.
- 4
Sheet waivers
Both car references are four-panel sheets, so the reference block repeats the crucial waiver: ONE horse, ONE car, never a split-screen or grid. Without it, multi-panel references leak panels into the film.
- 5
The absurdity, played straight
The horse is directed like an actor — upright in the seat, hooves on the wheel, driving the way a human driver does, a hoof shoving the shifter at redline. Total commitment to the bit, zero winking, is what makes the surreal read as cinema.
- 6
A logo without text risk
Reference 5 spells the finish-line logo letter by letter, then stages it as spray-painted asphalt seen from a locked bird's-eye — the one camera angle where generated typography stays crisp — and the negative prompt guards it against warping.
- 7
One merged insurance
The two negative prompts were deduplicated into a single list, keeping the strictest clause of each — including the elegant exception that permits exactly one watermark in the whole film: the painted road logo itself.
THE RESULT
Output — Thirty Seconds, One Generation

Read it against the merged clock: the staredown holds through 9 seconds, the launch erupts on the green, the rig shots vibrate with the chassis exactly where the CAMERA block pins them, and the ribbon snaps over a readable logo at 23-27. Two scripts, one take, no seam.
TWO SCRIPTS. ONE CLOCK. NO SEAM.
Longer takes don't need longer ideas — just one clock.
Any two-part story you have written for 15-second models can graduate the same way: move every shot onto one timeline, union the style blocks, delete the continuation clause, and let only the final shot stop hard. Seedance 2.5 gives you the seconds — the merge gives you the film.
