[Hero profile] Face and sunglasses: @Image 1. The black wayfarer-style sunglasses remain ON in every shot. Wardrobe: cream oversized heavyweight cotton t-shirt, open chocolate-brown wool overshirt with sleeves pushed to the forearm, relaxed cream wide-leg trousers, grey-and-cream suede New Balance running sneakers, small dark tattoo on the right forearm. No hat, no bag. Exactly one man. [Location] Broad overpass avenue, cream concrete railings, modern skyline in the far distance, matte grey asphalt, sparse distant traffic. VIDEO PROMPT: [Shot 1 - approx 0-4s] Extreme wide shot from far across the avenue, car and man small against the skyline. Initial state: the man stands at the open driver door. Event: he lowers into the seat and the door closes. Camera: slow walking push-in with footstep jitter, rack focus from a near railing post to the car. End state: door closed, man inside, camera still walking. [Shot 2 - approx 4-8s] Interior, camera from the passenger seat framing the rear-view mirror in close-up, shallow depth of field. Initial state: the mirror shows only the rear glass and the empty avenue behind; the man is not in the mirror, only his shoulder soft in the foreground. Event: his right hand enters and tilts the mirror down in one short motion; his face and black sunglasses slide into the mirror; he holds a slow calm look into the mirror for one beat, then looks back to the road. Camera: rack focus from his hand to the mirror reflection. End state: his face framed in the mirror, hand lowered. [Shot 3 - approx 8-12s] Roadside shoulder camera at the railing, wide. Initial state: empty asphalt, skyline soft. Event: the car enters from screen left at brisk natural road speed and passes close to camera; the near pass fills the frame with brown paint and carbon wing as a foreground wipe. Camera: the operator reacts late with a short whip pan, natural motion blur, then settles. End state: the car exiting screen right, wheels rotating, road parallax credible. [Shot 4 - approx 12-16s] Low angle at the road edge, camera near the ground. Initial state: the car far away, small, soft, headlights toward camera. Event: the car approaches steadily, growing large, then passes close on the right of camera. Camera: rack focus from near asphalt to the approaching car, slight shoulder recoil as it passes. End state: the car past the lens, camera settling on empty road. [Shot 5 - approx 16-20s] Interior driving, camera braced in the passenger seat, medium close-up of the man in profile, road vibration. Initial state: both hands on the wheel, skyline sweeping across the windshield, cream railings streaming past the side window. Event: he glances at the side mirror, then back to the road, a small confident exhale. Camera: slow push-in toward his profile, rack focus from the streaming railing outside to his sunglasses. End state: tight on his profile, sunglasses sharp, window blur behind. [Shot 6 - approx 20-25s] Rear tracking from a follow vehicle, shoulder-mounted, low. Initial state: the rear wing and red light bar fill the frame, matched speed. Event: the car accelerates away naturally, the gap opening, the wing shrinking against the skyline. Camera: held on the wing, then rack focus from the receding car to the road streaming under the lens. End state: the car three car lengths ahead and pulling away. [Shot 7 - approx 25-30s] Wide shot from the sidewalk at chest height. Initial state: the car mid-frame, travelling away toward the skyline. Event: it continues down the avenue, growing smaller. Camera: a short pan follows it, then the operator holds; slow focus roll from the car to the far skyline. Final state: held frame, car a small soft shape against the sharp skyline, no camera movement for the last second. AUDIO: <Native diegetic sound only: distant city hum, soft wind, door thump in Shot 1, mirror pivot click in Shot 2, subdued flat-six engine passing with tire roar and wind in Shots 3, 4 and 6, muffled cabin road noise in Shot 5, exhaust fading into the city in Shot 7.> No music. No voice. CONSISTENCY: Keep the man's face, curly hair, beard and black wayfarer-style sunglasses unchanged in every shot; sunglasses never removed. Keep the cream t-shirt, brown overshirt, cream trousers and suede sneakers unchanged. Exactly one man, exactly one car. The man is the only occupant, always in the driver seat. Screen direction: the car travels left to right or away from camera, never toward screen left. The Focus Pull
One face, one car, two prompts — an automotive fashion film built on a rack focus in every shot.
A TUTORIAL BY DENIZ AKKABAK · @DENIZ.AKKABAK
MODEL SEEDANCE 2.5 IN INVIDEO · FORMAT 30S / 9:16 / 7 SETUPS · GENRE AUTOMOTIVE FASHION FILM · SOUND ASMR, NO MUSIC
Car films fail in AI for a boring reason: the model treats the car as a hero prop and the person as an accessory, and the result looks like a render with a passenger. This film flips the hierarchy. It is a fashion film that happens to contain a Porsche — the overshirt, the cream trousers and the suede sneakers are described with the same care as the carbon-fibre wing, and every shot is built around one cinematographer's move, the rack focus. Two prompts were written on the same skeleton: the same head (FORMAT, STYLE, REFERENCES, wardrobe, location) and two different bodies — one for arriving at the car, one for driving it. The two generations were then cut together into a single montage, and because the head matched, the cut is invisible.
THE PIPELINE AT A GLANCE
- 01
Lock the references
A café selfie for the face and a six-panel product sheet for the car, each given exactly one job in the REFERENCES block; a third slot is reserved for the interior.
- 02
Prompt A — the approach
Seven timecoded setups in Seedance 2.5: the walk, the sneakers, the hand on the paint, the door, the seat, the engine start, the pull-away. Same references.
- 03
Prompt B — the drive
Seven more setups on an identical head: the rear-view mirror, the foreground wipe, the low-angle approach, the interior profile, the follow car, the skyline. Then the two generations are cut into one film.
STEP 01 — REFERENCES
One Face, One Car
Everything downstream depends on two images and the sentences that scope them. The first is a real photo of Deniz at a café table — grey t-shirt, croissant, terrace — and the prompt takes only what it needs: "face, identity, curly brown hair, short beard and black square-framed sunglasses ONLY". Everything else in the frame is disowned in the next sentence. The second is a six-panel studio sheet of the GT3 RS. A grid is the most efficient way to teach a model a car from every angle, but it is also the most efficient way to get six cars, so the prompt closes that door before it opens: "All panels are the SAME single car; show exactly one."
REFERENCE INPUTS — ATTACH IN THIS ORDER

The third slot, @Image 3, is scoped to "the interior, seats, steering wheel and dashboard only" (Prompt B adds the rear-view mirror, because Shot 2 lives in it). Wardrobe is not a reference at all — it is written, in the [Hero profile] line, down to the sleeves pushed to the forearm and the small tattoo on the right forearm, so the grey t-shirt in the reference photo never has a chance to win.
STEP 02 · SEEDANCE 2.5 — INVIDEO
Prompt A — The Approach
Prompt A is the arrival. The man enters from screen left, his sneakers stop beside the rear wheel, his hand travels along the paint to the carbon wing, he opens the door, sits, and the car leaves the frame from a camera lying on the asphalt behind it. Seven setups, four seconds each, and in every one the Camera line names a focus pull from a near object to a far one — railing to car, sneaker to caliper, fingertips to carbon weave. Note the last two shots share a single camera position: Shot 7 is written as "Continue from the same low rear wide angle", which is what lets the pull-away feel like one held breath instead of two cuts.

STEP 03 · SEEDANCE 2.5 — INVIDEO
Prompt B — The Drive
Prompt B keeps the head word for word and changes the body. It opens on the man already at the open door, then moves into the car for the shot that carries the whole film: a close-up of the rear-view mirror, empty, until his hand tilts it and his face slides into the glass. From there it is a driving montage — a roadside pass written as "a foreground wipe" with the operator reacting late, a low-angle approach with "slight shoulder recoil as it passes", a braced interior profile with railings streaming past the window, and a follow-car shot in which the wing shrinks against the skyline. The AUDIO line changes with it and assigns each sound to its shot number.
REFERENCE INPUTS — ATTACH IN THIS ORDER

STEP 04
Anatomy — Why the Focus Pull Works
Seven decisions in the prompt carry the film. Each one is anchored to a line you can find in the boxes above.
- 01
The contract
The first line is a production order, not a mood: "30s / 9:16 vertical / cinematic automotive fashion film / hard-cut montage of 7 camera setups, no dissolves". Seven setups at four seconds each fills exactly thirty seconds, and every shot is then written as Initial state → Event → Camera → End state. The model is never asked to invent a transition or guess how a shot resolves — the end state is written down before the shot is generated.
- 02
The realism strategy
STYLE forbids the things that make AI cars look like renders: "35mm film capture, shoulder-operated camera with organic sway and footstep micro-jitter, no smooth gimbal", then "low contrast, detailed open shadows … soft highlight roll-off, fine grain, real car materials". The negative prompt closes the same door from the other side — "no glossy CGI, no crushed blacks, no excessive HDR, no smooth gimbal, no drone shot". Imperfection is prescribed, so the paint reads as paint.
- 03
One reference, one job
@Image 1 "defines the man's face, identity, curly brown hair, short beard and black square-framed sunglasses ONLY. Do not inherit the grey t-shirt, table, food or cafe background" — the café selfie donates a face and nothing else. @Image 2 is a six-panel sheet, so the prompt pre-empts the obvious failure: "All panels are the SAME single car; show exactly one. Ignore the grid layout and grey studio background". @Image 3 is scoped to the interior alone. Three slots, three jobs, no overlap.
- 04
The rack focus as grammar
STYLE promises "a deliberate rack focus in every shot", and every Camera line delivers one: railing → car, sneaker → yellow caliper, fingertips → carbon weave, sunglass lenses → the leading edge of the opening door, seat bolster → sunglasses, receding car → far skyline. The focus pull is what makes the montage feel shot on glass rather than assembled; it is also what gives each four-second block a beginning and an end.
- 05
Shared head, two bodies
Prompt A and Prompt B carry an identical head — FORMAT, STYLE, REFERENCES, [Hero profile] and [Location] are the same words — and differ only below VIDEO PROMPT. A is the approach (walk, sneakers, hand on paint, door, seat, engine start, pull away); B is the drive (mirror tilt, foreground wipe, low-angle approach, interior profile, follow car, skyline). Because the head matched, the two generations cut together as one film: same light from screen right, same palette, same man.
- 06
Sound as structure
The AUDIO line is an inventory, not a vibe: "sneaker footsteps on asphalt, overshirt fabric, fingertips sliding on paint, door latch click, leather seat compressing, deep door thump, subdued flat-six engine start" — one sound per shot, in shot order. Prompt B goes further and assigns them by number: "door thump in Shot 1, mirror pivot click in Shot 2 … muffled cabin road noise in Shot 5". Then the sentence that keeps it ASMR: "No music. No voice."
- 07
The insurance
The one thing that would break the film is the face changing between cuts, so the sunglasses rule is written three times — in [Hero profile] ("remain ON in every shot"), in CONSISTENCY ("sunglasses never removed") and in the negative prompt ("no sunglasses removed"). CONSISTENCY also fixes screen direction — "man walks left to right; car exits away from camera" — and the ban list ends with the automotive tells: "no warped wheels, no wheel spin, no smoke", with B adding "no passenger" and "no drifting".
THE RESULT
Output — The Focus Pull

Check it against the prompt: the sunglasses never come off, the wardrobe never changes, there is exactly one man and exactly one car, the light stays on screen right, and every setup contains a focus pull. Watch the mirror shot in particular — the face arrives in the glass only after the hand tilts it, exactly as Shot 2 of Prompt B specifies the order. The join between the two generations is the hardest thing to find in the film, which is the point.
ONE FACE. ONE CAR. TWO PROMPTS.
The focus pull is the edit. Everything else is wardrobe.
Swap the GT3 RS for a vintage Land Rover, swap the overpass for a coastal road, swap the overshirt for a linen suit — the skeleton carries any automotive fashion film. Lock one face and one car with a job each, write the same FORMAT, STYLE and REFERENCES head over two different bodies, put a rack focus in every Camera line, and let the diegetic sound list do the scoring. The cut between the two generations will match because the head matched.
