The Duet

Prompt 1
SEEDANCE · UNIVERSAL TWO-PET DUET FORMAT: same duration and aspect ratio as @Video 1 / two-pet replacement / keep original cuts REFERENCES: @Video 1 is the camera, edit, timing and performance master. Copy it exactly: same number of shots, same cut points, same shot durations, same camera framing and movement, same orange studio backdrop, same hanging studio microphone, same lighting and color grading. Both animals keep the exact same positions, upright standing poses, body movements, paw gestures, head movements, mouth movements and timing as the original cats. Do not inherit the original cats' identity, breed, fur color, fur length, eyes or accessories. @Image 1 defines ONLY the LEFT pet, the singer. It can be a cat or a dog. Preserve this animal's face, eye color, eye condition, fur color, fur pattern, fur length, ear shape, nose, body size and proportions exactly as shown in @Image 1, including any unique features such as a different or cloudy eye, a scar, a missing ear tip or special markings. Keep any collar, bandana or accessory only if visible in @Image 1. Do not inherit the background, floor, furniture or lighting from @Image 1. [optional: short description of the left pet, and any unique feature with its exact side, e.g. "black cat, the cat's LEFT eye is cloudy and blind"] @Image 2 defines ONLY the RIGHT pet, the dancer. It can be a cat or a dog. Preserve this animal's face, eye color, eye condition, fur color, fur pattern, fur length, ear shape, nose, body size and proportions exactly as shown in @Image 2, including any unique features. Keep any collar, bandana or accessory only if visible in @Image 2. Do not inherit the background, floor, furniture or lighting from @Image 2. [optional: short description of the right pet] VIDEO PROMPT: Recreate @Video 1 with the two animals replaced. The pet from @Image 1 stands upright on the LEFT in front of the hanging microphone and performs every movement of the original left cat: same upright stance, same mouth opening in rhythm as it sings, same head tilts toward the mic, same paw positions, same timing. The pet from @Image 2 stands upright on the RIGHT and performs every movement of the original right cat: same paw gestures, same body sway, same head turns, same expressions, same timing. Both pets keep the exact screen side, spacing, floor position and framing of the original cats in every shot, including the wide shot. Each pet keeps its own species, breed, fur length, muzzle shape and body build; if a pet is larger or smaller than the original cat, keep its body center and floor position identical and scale the body naturally. Any unique facial feature stays on the correct side of the face in every shot and every head turn, exactly as in its reference image, never mirrored. The studio lighting wraps each pet's fur naturally. Photorealistic, real fur physics, natural animal motion, believable upright balance. Camera lock: every shot is a frame-by-frame copy of the matching shot in @Video 1: same start frame, same framing, same movement, same speed, same duration, same cut point. Do not slow down, shorten, extend, merge or remove any shot. Do not add camera moves that are not in @Video 1. AUDIO: @Video 1 is uploaded muted. Generate the video silent: no music, no singing voice, no sound effects. Mouth and body movements follow @Video 1 frame by frame so the original song can be added back in the edit. CONSISTENCY: Exactly two animals, @Image 1 pet on the left, @Image 2 pet on the right, never swapping sides. Same identities in every shot. Unique features and accessories present on the correct side in every shot. Orange backdrop, microphone, camera, cuts and timing identical to @Video 1. NEGATIVE PROMPT: no original cats from @Video 1, no third animal, no pets swapping sides, no identity change, no breed change, no species change, no mirrored face, no eye change, no missing or moved unique features, no added accessories, no fur pattern drift, no slow camera, no slow motion, no shortened or missing shots, no change to camera path, speed or cut points, no backdrop color change, no missing microphone, no music, no flicker, no cartoon, no cheap CGI, no on-screen text, no watermark.

PIPELINE SEEDANCE 2.5 FORMAT MATCHES THE REEL GENRE PET MUSIC VIDEO
A cat can’t hold a note, and it certainly can’t hold a choreography for twenty seconds. It doesn’t have to. The whole performance already exists — the stance, the mic, the head tilts, the paw work, every cut from medium to wide and back. This workflow treats that performance as a costume rack: the reel supplies the body language and the camera, two photos supply the faces, and Seedance does the fitting. You aren’t prompting a music video. You’re recasting one.
THE PIPELINE AT A GLANCE
- 01
Get the reel
Download the reel from Instagram and mute it. This file is your @Video 1 — the camera, the cuts and the choreography.
- 02
Cast your pets
One clear photo per performer. @Image 1 is the singer on the left, @Image 2 is the dancer on the right.
- 03
Generate
Attach all three in order, paste the prompt, match duration and aspect ratio to the reel, render.
STEP 01 — INSTAGRAM
Download the Reel — It Is Your @Video 1
This part is not optional, and it’s where most people get it wrong. The prompt never describes the dance in words — it points at @Video 1 and says copy it. Without the reel attached as a reference, Seedance has nothing to copy: no cuts, no mic, no choreography, and you’ll get two random pets standing around an orange wall.
So save the reel itself from my Instagram post (@deniz.akkabak) to your phone or computer — the actual video file, not a link and not a screenshot. That file goes into the references as @Video 1. It already has Lil Rıfkı and MC Feyyaz in it; that’s fine. The prompt tells Seedance to take their moves and throw away their identities.
@VIDEO 1 — THE REEL, THREE MOMENTS

STEP 02 — AUDIO OFF
Mute It — or Seedance Won’t Render
The reel carries a song, and that song is copyrighted. Seedance checks the audio of every reference you attach, and a copyrighted track gets the whole generation blocked before a single frame is made. The fix is simple and non-negotiable: strip the sound from the reel before you upload it.
AUDIO CHECK — BEFORE YOU UPLOAD
Mute the clip and export a new file. On iPhone: Photos → Edit → tap the speaker icon so it’s crossed out → Done. In CapCut or any editor: mute the clip, export.
Attach the silent file, not the original. Same length, same frames — only the audio track is gone. The movements survive, and that’s all the prompt needs.
Add the song back at the end. The prompt’s AUDIO line asks for a silent render, with mouths and paws still on the original beat — lay the track back in your editor or pick it when you post.
STEP 03 — CASTING
Cast Your Pets — Left Sings, Right Dances
Two photos, two roles, and the order matters. @Image 1 becomes the pet on the left — the one singing into the mic. @Image 2 becomes the pet on the right — the one doing the paw moves. Cat and dog, two dogs, two cats: the prompt doesn’t care.
Pick photos the way a casting director would: one animal per photo, face toward the camera, both eyes visible, good light, head and chest in frame. Seedance can only preserve what it can see — a blurry side profile gives it permission to improvise.
REFERENCE INPUTS — THE STARS OF THIS VERSION

One lesson from this shoot is worth the whole page. Lil Rıfkı is blind in one eye — his left one. On the first render, Seedance put the cloudy eye on the wrong side, because “the eye on the right of the photo” and “the cat’s right eye” are opposites. If your pet has anything one-sided — an eye, a scar, a torn ear, a patch — fill in the [optional] line and name the side from the pet’s own point of view: “the cat’s LEFT eye is cloudy and blind.” If there’s nothing to add, delete the bracket lines.
STEP 04 — SEEDANCE
Generate — One Prompt, Three References
Open Seedance in reference-to-video mode. Attach the three files in exactly this order, set the duration and aspect ratio to match the reel you downloaded, paste the prompt, and render.

Prompt 1
SEEDANCE · UNIVERSAL TWO-PET DUET
same duration and aspect ratio as @Video 1 / two-pet replacement / keep original cuts
@Video 1 is the camera, edit, timing and performance master. [optional: short description of the right pet]
Recreate @Video 1 with the two animals replaced.
@Video 1 is uploaded muted. Generate the video silent: no music, no singing voice, no sound effects. Mouth and body movements follow @Video 1 frame by frame so the original song can be added back in the edit.
Exactly two animals, @Image 1 pet on the left, @Image 2 pet on the right, never swapping sides. Same identities in every shot. Unique features and accessories present on the correct side in every shot. Orange backdrop, microphone, camera, cuts and timing identical to @Video 1.
no original cats from @Video 1, no third animal, no pets swapping sides, no identity change, no breed change, no species change, no mirrored face, no eye change, no missing or moved unique features, no added accessories, no fur pattern drift, no slow camera, no slow motion, no shortened or missing shots, no change to camera path, speed or cut points, no backdrop color change, no missing microphone, no music, no flicker, no cartoon, no cheap CGI, no on-screen text, no watermark.
STEP 05
Anatomy — Why It Holds Together
- 01
The contract
FORMAT says “same duration and aspect ratio as @Video 1 / keep original cuts.” Before a single pet is described, the output is forced into the reel’s shape — no invented edit, no reframed canvas.
- 02
One job per reference
Every reference “defines ONLY” its slice: @Video 1 owns camera and performance, each image owns one identity. The “Do not inherit” lines stop the kitchen floor in your photo, or Rıfkı’s bandana in the reel, from leaking across.
- 03
The screen-side lock
LEFT and RIGHT are written in capitals and repeated in CONSISTENCY: “never swapping sides.” Two animals in one frame is exactly where models blend or trade places — this line is what keeps the singer at the mic.
- 04
Identity marks, sided
“Any unique facial feature stays on the correct side … never mirrored.” The optional line lets you name that side from the pet’s point of view — the fix born from Rıfkı’s wrong-eye first render.
- 05
Bodies that fit
“Each pet keeps its own species, breed, fur length, muzzle shape and body build” while “body center and floor position” stay identical. A long-haired dog or a tiny kitten slots into the same choreography without being squashed into the original cat.
- 06
The camera lock
“Every shot is a frame-by-frame copy … same speed, same duration, same cut point.” Reference-to-video likes to slow down and trim; this block, echoed by “no slow motion” and “no shortened or missing shots,” keeps the edit on the beat.
- 07
Silence and the insurance
The AUDIO line asks for a silent render with movement still on the original rhythm, so the song goes back on cleanly. The NEGATIVE list closes every known failure: “no original cats from @Video 1,” “no mirrored face,” “no added accessories,” “no music.”
THE RESULT
Output — Lil Rıfkı × MC Feyyaz

Check yours against the reel, shot by shot: the singer stays left at the mic in every cut, the dancer hits the same paw break at the same moment, the wide shot keeps both pets on the floor line, and every one-sided feature stays on its own side when the heads turn. If something slips, don’t rewrite the prompt — fix the one line that owns it.
ONE REEL. ANY TWO PETS.
The choreography is borrowed. The stars are yours.
Swap the reel for any performance you love — a dance, a duet, a stage entrance — and swap the photos for whoever lives on your couch. The skeleton carries any of it: one reference that owns the camera and the edit, one image per performer that owns the identity, a screen-side lock so nobody wanders, and a silent render so the rights check never stops you at the door.
